RESUME

about me

Animation & Illustration  |   Associates in 2D Animation   |   Milwaukee Based

It's not an exaggeration to say that while I'm just 21 years old, I've been an artist for at least 18 of those years. Like many, my first canvases were the walls of our family home. I've since expanded my portfolio.

I received my Associate's Degree in 2D animation from the Milwaukee Area Technical College in the Spring of 2020, and will continue my animation studies this fall at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in pursuit of my bachelors.

As a former homeschooler, I had the opportunity to focus on my art through structured classes at local high schools, as well as have the luxury of time to immerse myself in the field of animation. An internship with the beta animation app Dodl.es helped me better understand production and the creative work environment. I believe my portfolio will show that my early influences help me to stand out from my peers.

My love of the arts and my desire to tell the story are what propel me forward each day. I enjoy taking things from script to screen. My main career is to be able to make the stories in my head come to life and share them with others.

Every year the Milwaukee PBS station comes to the animation department looking for students to create a 20-second long animation for their segment, "Letters to Santa."

We had a month to create the animation from start to finish. A few classmates and I got the script and created the storyboard, animatic, and proposed our vision. I took head-on backgrounds.
